About
Welcome to my practice! I’m so glad you are here.
I’ve been following the path of complementary and alternative medicine for over two decades, starting with massage, energy medicine, and spa therapies in Boulder, Colorado, before building a thriving private practice alongside a doctor, acupuncturist, and other healers in Lafayette, Colorado, for many years. One of the biggest lessons I have learned working with clients is that true healing requires listening to all aspects of the self and being present with the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual self. This is why I take a client-centered, whole-person approach to healing.
My CranioSacral Therapy (CST) and SomatoEmotional Release training with the Upledger Institute, opened me to trauma resolution and nervous system healing. Since learning this modality and working with trauma, I’ve built my practice centered around trauma-informed care, weaving in elements of somatic psychology and nervous system education.
Spiritual and esoteric healing modalities have been valuable and inspiring for me. Reiki, shamanic studies, and mystical traditions have shaped both my work and personal life. The benefits of working with energy are cleansing and balancing, and working with spirit, uplifting and empowering.
I am grateful for my many teachers, who have influenced and inspired me in this work. My studies into the healing arts have been a journey that continues to unfold, and I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Adams State University. This is the ongoing unfolding of Path Into The Heart, shaped by personal healing, clinical studies, and spirit.
Outside of my practice, I love time with family, my cat, yoga, and hiking. Connecting to wonder and joy makes my heart smile. My two grown children and grandson remind me of life’s blessings, and I cherish quiet moments with my partner in our mountain home. I also work as an early childhood educator in my mountain community, where I get to share wonder and joy with children every day.
